The Pathways Foundation recently joined forces with Google's Pathfinder Beyond Sports, Code Next NYC, and NBA legend Allan Houston's FISLL Foundation to host a powerful tech workshop at the Google NYC office. Over 50 high school students from the tri-state area came together to kick off a two-part series focused on building essential skills for the future.
This workshop was designed to immerse students in the world of technology, providing hands-on experience in areas like tech, problem-solving, teamwork, and even 3D printing.
By participating, these students are taking a crucial first step in developing a strong foundation for success in today's tech-driven world.
We want to extend a huge thank you to Tieliek Curry, Julian F., and the CodeNext team for creating such a comprehensive and engaging program.
Finally, we want to acknowledge the incredible work of Allan Houston, Dennis Carter, Theresa Scott, and the entire FISLL team. Their commitment to empowering youth through their core values (Faith, Integrity, Sacrifice, Leadership, and Legacy) is truly inspiring.
We're excited to continue this important work and empower the leaders of tomorrow!
