I recently had the incredible opportunity to be part of something truly extraordinary and revolutionary: the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) championship and the Beyond The Field Program. It's an experience that will be etched in my memory forever.
I want to express my gratitude to Briana Gilmartin, Lauren Lopez, and the many others whose investment made this week so successful for an amazing group of women. It was truly special to witness and contribute to the "Magic" (no pun intended!).
Here's a glimpse into the week's highlights:
- Google Beyond Sports and The Pathways Foundation hosted a workshop on leveraging tools like Google's Gemini AI to build personal and professional brands via LinkedIn. It was a fantastic collaboration with Maria Krauel, CCSP, and the AthLife Inc. team!
- The Women Leaders in Sport panel was incredibly empowering and inspiring, featuring some of the top women executives in the sports industry. Thank you to Patti Phillips and Christina Turner for including us!
- The Pro Sports Assembly C-Suite Circle Capstone Presentations provided deep dives into Crisis Management, featuring many of the top executives and rising stars across the sports industry.
- The NWSL Self Investment Panel + Partner Fair was an honor to be a part of, sharing the stage with accomplished leaders like Meghan O'Donnell, M.S., Samantha Ward, Megan Buchan, Kelly Weiss, Meredith Batcheller, Sarah Gregorius, and Megan Coughlin, as we explored careers and life beyond the pitch.
- Other highlights included A Touch More Live Podcast with Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe, the NWSL PA Players Party at the Google Pixel Portrait Studio, and the JWS Player Party! Big shout out to Adam Lewis, Kate Johnson, OLY, and the entire Pixel Sports Marketing Team for their hard work in making this partnership so special.
- And of course, the NWSL Championship Game at CPKC Stadium!
This event showcased the power of supporting athletes in all facets of their lives, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it.
