These powerful words, spoken by NBA Legend Allan Houston during his acceptance of the 2024 Service Above Yourself Award at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, have resonated deeply.
I was honored to attend as an honorary guest alongside Allan and Charlie Rosenzweig. It was particularly meaningful to witness Allan's commitment to service firsthand through his visit to the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, Inc.
The Club played a pivotal role in my own life, shaping my sense of self during challenging times. To see Allan Houston give back to the same youth I will forever serve was a truly full-circle moment.
